Bennett Lax, D.D.S.

Dr. Bennett Lax has been providing personalized family dental care since 1978.

After earning his Bachelor of Science degree from the Brooklyn College of City University of New York in 1971, Dr. Lax went on to receive his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the New York University College of Dentistry in 1975. He also served in the Army, graduating from Command and General Staff College. He retired from the Army with the rank of Lt. Colonial.

As an esteemed member of the dental community, Dr. Lax stays on the cutting edge of the latest advancements in dentistry by maintaining memberships with numerous prestigious organizations such as the American Dental Association, New York Dental Association, Third District Dental Society and the Troy Dental Study Club. He currently serves as the Continuing Education Chair for the Third District Dental Society, and is a past president of the Third District Dental Society and Troy Dental Study Club. Dr. Lax also teaches the dental residents at St. Peter’s Hospital.

In giving back to the community, Dr. Lax volunteers with St. Peter’s Hospital Dental Center and Temple Ohav Shalom. In his leisure time, he enjoys photography and playing golf.
